Hospitality designer with over 12 years of experience delivering hotels, restaurants and resorts across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
My career has been built around hospitality design, from luxury hotels and destination restaurants to large-scale resort developments. Over the past twelve years, I have worked across concept design, technical documentation, specifications and construction support, helping bring projects from early ideas through to opening day.
Today, I work independently, supporting design studios, operators and clients who value both creativity and technical expertise. Whether contributing to a single project phase or delivering a package from concept through construction, I believe the most successful spaces are those that balance design intent, operational needs and an exceptional guest experience.

Professional Background
I am a registered Interior Architect with the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects (AKBW), having studied Interior Design in London and built over twelve years of experience across hospitality, retail and architectural design.
Much of my career has been spent within international, multidisciplinary design practices, working alongside architects, landscape designers, consultants, visualisers and specialist suppliers. I have contributed to luxury hotels, restaurants, bars and resort developments from early design stages through technical delivery, tender and construction.
Before specialising in hospitality, I gained experience in architectural planning and retail design, including projects for global brands such as Nike. This broader background has given me a strong understanding of how design develops beyond the initial concept, from spatial and operational requirements through detailing, coordination and delivery.
Today, I bring that experience to projects at different stages and scales, whether developing a concept, producing and coordinating technical packages, or supporting a design team through construction.

Every studio needs a trusted companion, and Kayu takes his role very seriously. Since joining the team in 2025, he has become an enthusiastic participant in walks, meetings and the occasional design review.
While his expertise lies primarily in treats and outdoor adventures, he serves as a daily reminder of the importance of creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable to spend time in.
